Frankfort Frosty 5K : December 7, 2025
The Frankfort Frosty 5K takes place on Sunday, December 7, 2025 at Lakeview Park, 118 Park Avenue, Frankfort, KY 40601. The event includes the following race options:
- 5K Run/Walk
- Fred & Me 1.43K
- Kid's "Little Frosty" Dash (free)
- 5K - VIRTUAL RUNNER/WALKER
- Fred & Me 1.43K - VIRTUAL RUNNER/WALKER
- Race Volunteer (no fee)
Race features and logistics
The course is a scenic paved trail that loops through Lakeview Park with a common start and finish. There is a hydration station near the half-way point. Participants receive commemorative long-sleeved race shirts in unisex and youth sizes while supplies last. Awards are given to the top 3 male and female overall finishers and the top 3 male and female finishers in five-year age divisions. Music and Christmas carolers are planned along the 5K route, with post-race hot chocolate and snacks and a visit from Frosty.
Registration notes: the listed price for the 5K and Fred & Me events is $30; the Kid's dash is free. Price increases after December 4, 2025. Virtual event registration ends December 6, 2025. Packet pickup and late registration are at Lakeview Park, Farm Bureau Pavilion on December 6 and December 7.
