10th Annual St. Nicholasville Ugly Sweater 3K
The St. Nicholasville Ugly Sweater 3K is a holiday-themed event held in Nicholasville, Kentucky. The race takes place in December and is centered around the Coolidge Building and the local Courthouse. Participants can choose between two event formats:
- 3K Run/Walk
- 3K Virtual Runner/Walker
The course for the in-person event begins at the double glass door entrance of the Coolidge Building and concludes at the Courthouse. The event is timed to occur before the local Christmas parade, and awards are presented inside the courthouse lobby following the race.
Participants receive commemorative race sweatshirts available in various unisex sizes. The event features chip timing provided by RaceRise and professional photography. Awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers overall, as well as the top three in numerous age divisions ranging from 0-11 to 80 and over. A special prize is also awarded for the most festive attire.
The event serves as a fundraiser for the Jessamine County Food Pantry. Partial proceeds and all direct donations support the pantry's efforts to assist those in need.
