Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, December 12 at the Offices of the Woodford County Chamber of Commerce (126 S Main St, Versailles, KY 40383); there is also packet pickup on race morning in downtown Midway. The event route is described as a scenic downtown course and a 5K route map is available. Race features include commemorative shirts, free race photos, a DJ, awards for top overall and age group finishers (1st, 2nd and 3rd in five-year age divisions), a prize for the largest social team, and a Best Dressed contest with prizes. The Kids' Elf Dash includes a participation medal; a commemorative youth shirt is offered as a paid add-on. Partial race proceeds and 100% of race donations will support two local charities: Cops For Kids Inc. and the Jeri Hartley Foundation.
