The Triboro Adventure Tour

Founded in 2018, the Triboro Adventure Tour is a timed urban navigation event that starts and finishes in Astoria, Queens at 2923 24th Ave. The route travels through three boroughs—Queens, Manhattan and the Bronx—using the Triborough Bridge and passing through South Bronx, East Harlem, and Randall’s Island. Total distance is approximately 12 miles.

Participants must visit five checkpoints shown on the event map. Checkpoints may be reached in any order, so route choice and planning influence overall time as much as running or riding pace. The event includes separate Runner and Biker entries. The Runner entry notes an age range of 18 to 70. Posted entry fees are $65 for Runner and $50 for Biker.

Overall male and female top finishers receive cash awards. Every finisher who completes the course receives a custom medal and a custom race singlet. Post race provisions listed for finishers include free beer and pizza and a beverage described as AG’s special THUNDER PUNCH. Raffles for sponsor items and goody bags follow the overall awards. Bib and packet pickup occur on race day at the start location and full packet pickup information is provided to registered participants prior to the event. The race course is not closed to traffic and participants compete at their own risk. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
