Tri-State Warrior Run

Tri-State Warrior Run

The Tri-State Warrior Run takes place on 10/25/2026 at the Illinois Veterans Home grounds in Quincy, Illinois. Multiple race and walk distances use routes that begin and end behind the Administration Building and pass historic buildings, wooded areas, the Deer Park, memorials, and the Avenue of Flags.

Chip timing is provided. The 5K, 10K and half marathon courses travel through Sunset Cemetery, past the Medal of Honor Memorial and along the Cedar Creek Trail. These running routes cross railroad tracks, so there may be an unexpected delay if a train passes. A course time limit of 3 hours applies to all events.

Finisher medals in a traditional dog tag style are given to all event finishers. There are in-person and virtual options; virtual submissions are accepted from 10/25/2026 through 11/02/2026 and virtual participants receive event merchandise when registered within the event deadlines.

Parking is available by the Administration Building off the 12th Street entrance and south of the main drive at the lot across from Lake Illinois. Participants are asked not to park on the Veteran Home roads.
