The Kroc Center Bubble Fun 5K Run/Walk
The Kroc Center Bubble Fun 5K Run/Walk takes place on September 11, 2027 at The Salvation Army Kroc Center, 405 Vermont Street, Quincy, Illinois. The event is presented by Nutrition HQ and is noted as the 5th Annual Bubble Fun 5K.
Participants walk or run through foam and bubbles on a course that begins at the Kroc Center and continues through downtown Quincy. The bubble solution is described as hypoallergenic and safe, and the event is presented as family-friendly.
All proceeds support the Kroc Center's youth recreational and fitness programs, providing funding for activities for local children.
Packet pick up is available on Friday, September 10 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Kroc Center and on Saturday, September 11 from 6:45 am to 7:15 am at the Kroc Center; Friday pick up is encouraged when possible. Parking is available on 5th Street, in the city lot across the street from the Kroc Center and at the Adams County Health Department lot.
Most streets on the route will be blocked off, but some sections will remain open to traffic. Volunteers will be on the route and participants are asked to check their surroundings before crossing intersections. The event is held rain or shine.
