The Kroc Center Bubble Fun 5k Run/Walk
The Kroc Center Bubble Fun 5k Run/Walk, presented by Nutrition HQ, is scheduled for Saturday, September 12, 2026 at The Salvation Army Kroc Center, 405 Vermont Street, Quincy, IL. The event is a community run and walk held on a measured 5k course that begins at the Kroc Center and continues through downtown Quincy.
Participants will pass through foam and bubble stations along the route; the bubble solution is described as hypoallergenic. Proceeds from the event support the Kroc Center’s youth recreational and fitness programs.
A post-event celebration marks 15 years of community at the Kroc Center and includes bounce houses, food, carnival games and other family-oriented activities. Packet pick-up is offered on Friday, September 11 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Kroc Center and on the morning of the event; organizers recommend using the Friday option when possible.
Parking is available on 5th Street north and south of Vermont, in the city lot across the street (access through the alley only) and at the Adams County Health Department lot near Vermont Street. Most streets along the route will be blocked off and volunteers will be on course, but portions are not fully closed to traffic; participants should check surroundings before crossing intersections.
