The Kroc Center Bubble Fun 5K Run/Walk
The Kroc Center Bubble Fun 5K Run/Walk is presented by Nutrition HQ and takes place at The Salvation Army Kroc Center, 405 Vermont Street, Quincy, IL, on September 12, 2026. This is the fourth annual edition of the event.
Participants walk or run through foam and bubble stations on a course that continues through downtown Quincy. The bubble solution is described as hypoallergenic.
All proceeds support the Kroc Center's youth recreational and fitness programs to provide opportunities for children in the community.
After the run there are activities to mark 15 years of community at the Kroc Center, including bounce houses, food, carnival games, and other family offerings.
Packet pick up is available at the Kroc Center on the Friday and Saturday before the event. Parking options include 5th Street north and south of Vermont, the city lot across the street from the Kroc Center (access through the alley), and the Adams County Health Department lot.
Most streets along the route will be blocked off and volunteers will be present; portions of the route are not fully closed to vehicle traffic. The event is planned as rain or shine. Suggested items for the day include sunglasses, towels, and a change of shoes for after the foam. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
