The Kroc Center Bubble Fun 5K Run/Walk
The Kroc Center Bubble Fun 5K Run/Walk is the 4th annual event presented by Nutrition HQ, scheduled for September 12, 2026 in Quincy, Illinois. The event begins and ends at The Salvation Army Kroc Center at 405 Vermont Street and follows a course through downtown Quincy.
Participants walk or run through foam and bubbles along a family-friendly course; the bubble solution is described as hypoallergenic and safe. All proceeds support the Kroc Center’s youth recreational and fitness programs. The event also coincides with a community celebration of 15 years of the Kroc Center.
Post-race activities at the Kroc Center include bounce houses, food, carnival games, and other family-oriented features. Packet pick up is available on Friday, September 11 and on the morning of the event, with the Friday option noted as an available alternative.
Parking is available on 5th Street north and south of Vermont, in the city lot across from the Kroc Center (access via the alley), and at the Adams County Health Department lot near Vermont Street. Most streets along the route will be blocked off and volunteers will be positioned on the course, though portions of the route remain open to traffic.
