Team Gage Beast Endurance Race
The Team Gage Beast Endurance Race is a four-hour event on a fully paved loop on the Hannibal Regional Hospital Healthy Way Trail in Hannibal, Missouri. Participants run laps on a 1 mile route with gentle rolling hills. Entrants may compete solo or in teams of four. Optional on-course challenges are offered to earn bonus miles; the more difficult the challenge, the larger the bonus.
Race packet pickup and the race start area are located near the rear parking lot of the Hannibal Regional Hospital Foundation building and the front of the Mark Twain Behavioral Health building. A meal is provided after the event by Rebel Pig Smokehouse & Grill.
Registration fees change by date: a lower fee applies for registrations completed by May 29, 2026, and a higher fee applies for later registrations up to race day. Runners who register by May 29 are guaranteed event apparel, a finishers medal, and a car decal. Awards include top male, top female, top team of four, and a "Grit Award" for notable commitment and encouragement. The event has a no-refund policy.
The race is held in memory of a local young person who lived with the ultra-rare degenerative disorder NGLY1. Proceeds support the Mississippi Valley State School for the Handicapped and the Grace Science Foundation. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
