Tri-PTC Sprint Triathlon
The Tri-PTC Sprint Triathlon takes place on August 29, 2026, at Drake Field on Lake Peachtree and is hosted by Tri-PTC. The event is USAT sanctioned and championship timed. All finishers receive medals; t-shirt availability cannot be guaranteed after August 1.
Distances
- Swim: 500 yards
- Bike: 13 miles
- Run: 3.1 miles
The swim is held in Lake Peachtree. The bike course is described as gently-rolling and the run follows local golf cart paths. Course maps are provided by the organizer.
Packet pick-up is at Drake Field with sessions on the Friday before the race and the morning of the race; participants must present a photo ID and USAT card if they are USAT members. All relay team members must be present at check-in.
The event has a transfer policy and no refunds. A request to transfer registration must be made 14 days or more before the event; transfers are subject to a $40 fee and require an application from the new participant. Race day registration requires approval from the race director.
Awards are given to overall top finishers, masters, Athena, Clydesdale, relays, overall physically challenged, and age group awards three deep in standard age brackets starting at 16. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
