Clayton-Henry NPHC 5K Fun Run/Walk
The event is an in-person 5K run and walk at Clayton International Park in Jonesboro, GA on August 29, 2026. The route is described as a scenic 5K through the park. Free parking is available at the race site until the lot is full, with overflow parking served by a shuttle.

The event includes a live DJ and a pre-race warm up dance activity. Participants receive a race bib, a swag bag, and a commemorative medal while supplies last. The race is chip timed and will present awards to top finishers. Organizers may group participants into smaller corrals for safety. Strollers and wheelchairs are welcome. The event is scheduled to proceed rain or shine; in extreme weather a reschedule will be announced.
Registration opens on March 15, 2026 and is offered in multiple periods. Early registration ends April 28, 2026. Regular registration ends June 28, 2026. Late registration ends August 28, 2026 and race day registration is not guaranteed. A registration fee of $35.00 is listed. All registrations are final; the event policy states there are no refunds, exchanges, or transfers.
