Event Overview
The Clayton-Henry NPHC 5K Fun Run/Walk is the fourth annual event organized by the Clayton-Henry National Pan-Hellenic Council. It takes place in Jonesboro, Georgia, on Saturday, August 29, 2026. The event includes a chip-timed race with awards for top finishers.
Course and Venue
The run follows a scenic 5K route through the Bud Kelley Park Trail System. The event is held at Clayton International Park, located at 2300 Hwy 138 SE in Jonesboro. There is free parking available on-site until the lot is full, after which overflow parking with a shuttle is provided.
Event Features
A pre-race warm-up includes music from a live DJ. Participants receive a race bib, and a commemorative medal and swag bag are available while supplies last. After the race, a festival runs until 12pm with local food vendors, a line dance marathon, and community vendor booths.
Registration and Policies
Registration is open and prices vary: $35 for regular registration until June 30, 2026, $45 for late registration until August 28, and $55 on race day. All registrations are final, with no refunds, exchanges, or transfers. Strollers and wheelchairs are welcome, but pets are not allowed on the course. The event is scheduled rain or shine.
