11th Annual Jeffrey E. Turner Fitness 5K
The Jeffrey E. Turner Fitness 5K Run/Walk takes place in Jonesboro, Georgia, at Lee Street Park. This community event marks its eleventh year and provides participants with the opportunity to engage in physical activity while supporting local charitable initiatives. The proceeds from the event benefit CASA and the Classie Mae Turner Scholarship Fund.
Participants can choose between two primary options for participation:
- 5K Run/Walk
- Virtual Runner option for remote participation
The physical race occurs at 155 Lee Street, utilizing the grounds of Lee Street Park. For individuals who are unable to attend the event in person or prefer to support the cause from a different location, the virtual runner category allows for participation in spirit.
