Event Overview

The Tri Faster SwimRun Race #1 takes place at Fox Brook Park in Brookfield, Wisconsin. This multi-sport event utilizes the park's 25-acre lake and the surrounding paved pathways. Participants can choose between various swimming and running disciplines, including an aquathon, open water swimming, and a standalone foot race.

Course Details

The water portion of the event is held on a 500m loop course within the lake. Depending on the selected event, swimmers complete a specific number of laps:

  • Individual Aquathon: A 1000m swim (2 loops) followed by a 5k run.
  • 1500m Open Water Swim: Three loops of the swim course.
  • 500m Open Water Swim: One loop of the course (non-competitive).

The running segment for both the aquathon and the 5k Run/Walk consists of three loops on a paved path circling the lake. This path is described as flat and fast.

Participation Requirements

The event is open to individuals aged 11 and older. Participants in this age group must be able to swim the designated distances confidently to take part. Registration for the different categories is available as individual entries with specific fees for each distance or combination. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
