Event Format
The Tri Faster Indoor Triathlon is the 10th annual edition of this event. It takes place at the Wisconsin Athletic Club in Greenfield. Participants start in waves of eight people.
The event follows a timed format with specific segments:
- A 10-minute swim in a shallow pool, where participants swim as many laps as possible.
- A 10-minute transition period.
- A 20-minute bike segment on spin bikes, where participants ride as many miles as possible.
- A 5-minute transition period.
- A 15-minute run on a treadmill, where participants run as many miles as possible.
Waves start and finish each segment together.
Scoring and Awards
Each participant receives a scorecard at check-in, where volunteers record completed distances. Scoring ranks participants based on the furthest distance achieved in each segment. The participant with the lowest total points is the winner.
Merchandise prizes are given to the overall male and female winners. Award pins are given to the top three male and female finishers in each age group.
Venue and Participant Items
The Wisconsin Athletic Club venue offers showers, a hot tub, and towel service. Each participant receives a race-branded LED headlamp flashlight and post-race refreshments.
The event is open to participants aged 12 to 100. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
