Trefor Pugh Memorial Race & Fun Run
Maldwyn Harriers presents the Trefor Pugh Memorial Race and a separate fun run as the final event in the summer road race series on 14 August 2026 in Montgomery. The event takes place at Montgomery Show Field with the finish by the Town Hall. First aid and toilets are provided.
There are two events:
- 1 mile fun run for children and other participants, under 9s to be accompanied by an adult
- Main road race, entrants must be 15 years or older on the day; the main race is not suitable for wheelchairs
Entry fees are listed as club registered athletes £10.00, unattached £12.00, under 19 athletes £5.00, and fun run entry £2.00. Entries are preferred through the online site but may be accepted on the day if space permits. The organiser notes they will not be responsible for loss or injury to persons or property and requires entrants to confirm they are medically fit to run and that they agree to follow UKA laws. A permit application has been submitted.
