Event

The Sunrise to Sunset Challenge is an annual running event organised by How Hard Can It Be Events at Shrewsbury Sports Village, Sundorne Rd, Shrewsbury SY1 4RQ. Entering its 17th year, the event lets runners cover as much distance as they can between sunrise and sunset. The course is a purpose-built 1 km cycle track. Runners record laps on a lap card and the winner is the competitor who records the greatest distance. Music, food and drinks will be available during the day.

  • 5 km: open to entrants aged 15 and over; price about £27–£28.
  • 10 km: open to entrants aged 16 and over; price about £27–£28.
  • Half Marathon: open to entrants aged 17 and over; price about £34–£35.
  • Marathon: open to entrants aged 18 and over; price about £39–£40.
  • Ultra Marathon: open to entrants aged 18 and over; price about £44–£45.
