Tree of Life 10K, 5K & Pioneer 1 Mile Race : March 22, 2026
The event takes place on March 22, 2026 at the 1st Day of Chancellorsville Battlefield in Fredericksburg, VA. It supports Tree of Life Christian Preparatory School and is the seventh annual running of the 5K and 1 mile race. A portion of proceeds will go to VFW Post 3103. Walkers and strollers are welcome.

Course and logistics
Races run on gravel and dirt surfaces with rolling hills following a loop trail around the battlefield. The 10K combines trail and pavement and includes an out-and-back through the Chancellorsville Crossing subdivision that features a large hill. The 5K stays on trail and turns around near the cemetery. Kid's races use a shorter loop. Parking is available at the 1st Day of Chancellorsville Battlefield. Race packets are distributed in advance at TLC Preparatory Christian School and at the battlefield parking on race day. The 5K is part of the FARC Grand Prix Series and is a certified course. Register by 3/01/2026 to be guaranteed a race shirt. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
