Tree of Life 10K, 5K & Pioneer 1 Mile Race - Fredericksburg, VA
The Tree of Life event features three running distances that take place at the 1st Day of Chancellorsville Battlefield parking area in Fredericksburg, VA (6133-6161 Germanna Hwy, 22407). The event supports Tree of Life Christian Preparatory School and is described as the 7th annual 5k and 1 mile race.
Course terrain includes gravel and dirt surfaces with rolling hills and a loop trail around the battlefield. The 10K returns as a mix of trail and pavement and includes an out-and-back section through the Chancellorsville Crossing subdivision that contains a large hill. The 5K remains on trail and turns around near the cemetery. Kid races follow a shorter loop to complete their distances. The 5k is part of the FARC Grand Prix Series with a certified course, noted as new in 2026.
A portion of event proceeds will go to the local VFW Post 3103. Parking is available at the 1st Day of Chancellorsville Battlefield. Race packet pickup is handled through TLC Preparatory Christian School with additional pickup at the battlefield parking area. Walkers and strollers are welcome.
