Turkey Trot 10K - Quantico
The Turkey Trot at Marine Corps Base Quantico offers a timed 10K and a 1-mile distance along tree-lined roadways on base. The event is sponsored by Tour Stafford VA and is part of the Marine Corps Marathon Organization’s series of weekend events.
Participants in the 10K must be at least 10 years old and able to maintain a 20 minute per mile pace. The 1-mile distance is open to all ages. All participants can earn a unique finisher medal and receive a participant shirt.
Registration for the 2026 Turkey Trot 10K and Mile is open, with discounted military registration and early bird pricing available. Transfers and deferrals are not permitted; all registrations are final. Refund protection options are available through a third party called TEAK. Refundable registration rules differ by purchase date: registrations purchased before February 27 may include a refundable option that charges a 14% service fee for a full refund, while registrations purchased after that date may use TEAK’s refundable product and require supporting documentation for a claim.
The Turkey Trot is included in the 2026 Distinguished Participant bundle, which allows registration for multiple Marine Corps Marathon Organization weekend events and awards an additional medal for completion. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
