Turkey Trot 10K - Quantico
The Turkey Trot is a road race held on Marine Corps Base Quantico that includes a 10K and a 1 mile distance. The 10K course follows tree-lined roadways on base. All participants receive a unique finisher medal and a shirt.
Age and pace requirements differ by distance. 10K participants must be at least 10 years old and able to maintain a 20 minute per mile pace. The 1 mile event is open to all ages. Discounted military registration and early bird pricing are available for the 2026 events.
The Marine Corps Marathon Organization offers a Distinguished Participant bundle for 2026 that groups five event weekends; the Turkey Trot is one of the listed events. Those seeking eligibility for both the Distinguished Participant bundle and the Semper Fidelis Challenge should register for the DP bundle and ensure registration for the Marine Corps Historic Half and the Marine Corps Marathon as specified by the organizer.
Transfers and deferrals are not permitted; all registrations are final. Optional refundable registration products are available with different terms depending on purchase date. Refundable registration purchased before a specified date includes a service fee of 14 percent; other refundable options require documentation and have time limits for requests and supporting materials.
