Tranquility Lake Trail Race
The Tranquility Lake Trail Race is scheduled for Saturday, March 7, 2026, at the Redbud Pavilion in Oak Mountain State Park. It is listed as the first stop in the 2026 Southeastern Trail Series.

The course follows a 3 mile loop that includes Tranquility Road, shaded single track, passage through Maggie’s Glen, a climb along the ridge above Tranquility Lake, and a descent back to the finish. Each lap has about 450 feet of elevation gain. An aid station is located at the pavilion at the 3 mile mark for 6 mile runners.
Trail shoes are recommended for comfort and traction. There is a $5 cash only entry fee at Oak Mountain State Park. Food and beverage are provided for runners after the finish.
Packet pickup and late registration are scheduled for the race weekend, with a Friday session (location listed as TBD) and a Saturday session at the Redbud Pavilion. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
