Tranquility Lake Trail Run takes place at Oak Mountain State Park in Pelham, Alabama, with the Redbud Pavilion as the race hub. The event is organized by Southeastern Trail Runs and serves as the kickoff for the Southeastern Trail Series.

Distances:

• 3 Mile loop around Tranquility Lake
• 6 Mile two laps of the same 3 mile loop

The course is a loop that begins in front of the Redbud Pavilion and starts with a short 0.4 mile segment along Tranquility Road, circling the BMX track to spread runners out before entering singletrack. The trail runs through woods, emerges near the park cabins, crosses Cabin Road, includes a short climb, and returns toward the BMX area to finish at Redbud Pavilion. Each loop has about 450 feet of elevation gain. Six mile runners pass the aid station at Redbud Pavilion between laps and reenter the woods for a second circuit without repeating the initial Tranquility Road loop.

Amenities and race details include an aid station at Redbud Pavilion and food and beverages at the finish. Oak Mountain State Park charges a five dollar per person entry fee. Awards are given in both distances with overall and youth categories, including first through third places and a 14 and under division for male and female runners.
