TrailFun Holiday Series 5 of 5 : Heritage Day
The TrailFun Heritage Day Run is a public holiday trail event on 24 September 2026 at Simonsig Wine Estate, Stellenbosch, Western Cape. The event presents routes that are clearly marked and walk friendly, with on-route support and water points. It forms part of the TrailFun Holiday Series but can be entered on its own. The event welcomes runners, walkers, families and community groups and emphasizes connection and continuity.
Distances and route format
- 5 km easy, relatively flat
- 10 km more demanding, still entry level
- 15 km available as a relaxed run option
- 21 km available as a relaxed run option
Entries include an oversized Butterfly Medal (60 mm × 70 mm), a pair of THE Socks matched to the event, a bottle of spring water and a single portion wine tasting at the finish. There are podium prizes for first to third places in adult categories. A pet nutrition partner will be present with goodie bags and advice, and dogs on leads are welcome.
