TrailFun Holiday Series 5 at Simonsig
TrailFun stages a run at Simonsig Wine Estate with options for a relaxed self paced outing or a formal race. The route runs through a wine farm and includes a few gentle uphill and downhill sections. Organisers adjusted the course to suit both the 5 km route and a slightly longer 10 km option.
Distances available:
- 5 km entry level, pram friendly
- 10 km longer route
- 15 km composed as 10 km plus 5 km
- 21 km composed as two 10 km laps
The relaxed option lets participants choose their own start time during the event window and involves no group starts or mass gathering. The race option uses official starts and awards prizes for first, second and third places.
General event services and features include entry fees from R 120 to R 360, on the day entries, a medal and a bottle of spring water for every entry, the option to include a bottle of wine with entry, free wine tasting, coffee and breakfasts for sale, lots of lucky draw prizes, and a dog friendly course.
