Trail to Tryon Holiday Half, 10K and 5K : New Bern, NC
The Trail to Tryon Holiday races take place on December 5, 2026 in New Bern, North Carolina, with a common start and finish located on the south side of Tryon Palace next to the Trent River. The event is a road race; the event name references Tryon Palace and New Bern’s colonial history as the first official center of government for North Carolina.
Courses pass through New Bern’s downtown district, waterfront parks, and residential neighborhoods. A post-race ceremony in Bates Commons will include vendors and a festive atmosphere and will provide awards for age groups. All finishers in each distance receive medals.
