Event overview
The Neuse River Bridge Run 2026 takes place in New Bern, North Carolina. In-person events are scheduled for May 1-2, 2026, with virtual events available from May 1 to May 9, 2026. The event supports five local nonprofit beneficiaries that equally share 100% of net race revenue: Craven Community College Foundation, The Filling Station, Duffyfield Phoenix Project, Mediation Center of Eastern Carolina, and Twin River YMCA.

In-person and virtual options are available for all four events. Early registration runs through February 28, 2026; prices increase starting March 1, 2026. Current base fees are: Half Marathon $70, 10K $55, 5K $45, SuperKids $20. Age minimums are listed for each event; the Half Marathon is open to ages 10 and up, 10K and 5K are open to ages 7 and up.
Course, timing and kit information
The in-person Half Marathon and 10K routes include a run over the Neuse River Bridge. All in-person courses cross the George Cunningham Bridge over the Trent River and finish on East Front Street in front of the Riverfront Convention Center of Craven County in New Bern. In-person events use chip timing provided by a professional timing company. Virtual races are not timed; virtual results can be reported via the event’s tracking options. Race kits may be picked up at the Riverfront Convention Center or mailed for a fee.
Awards and extras
Top three male and female finishers receive place medals. Age-group awards cover 13 categories. Half Marathon finishers receive a finisher medal. All registrants receive a 2026 event t-shirt. A referral program offers $15 refunds for every three friends who register using a participant’s referral link, up to a full refund. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
