Trail of Two Cities 5k

Event overview

The Trail of Two Cities is a point-to-point road run from Ocean City, New Jersey, to Somers Point. The course covers 5 kilometers (3.1 miles) and travels the length of the Route 52 causeway using the lanes normally reserved for vehicles. The start location is the Ocean City Transportation Center at 9th Street and Haven Avenue and the finish is at John F. Kennedy Park in Somers Point. Buses are provided at the finish to transport participants to the start before the race and to return participants to Ocean City after the race. Proceeds benefit Ocean City Recreation Scholarships and Programs and the Somers Point Education Foundation.

Registration, packet pickup and awards

Registration opens February 1. Entry fees vary by date and are non-refundable and non-transferable. Advance packet pickup is available the day before the race at the Ocean City Aquatic & Fitness Center; race-day packet pickup and registration are also offered. Overall awards are given to the top male, female and non-binary finishers. Age-group awards go to the top three finishers in each listed group, including youth and decade-based adult categories from 8-and-under through 80-and-over.
