St. Joseph Academy 5K
The SJA 5K is an annual community sports event held in Hammonton, New Jersey. This event, now in its fifth year, is organized to support St. Joseph Academy. The race takes place at 328 Vine Street and features two distinct options for participants:
- 5K Run
- 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
The 5K Run includes a competitive element with awards for the top three overall male and female finishers. Additionally, first-place prizes are awarded within specific age groups for both men and women, ranging from 14 and under to 60 and over.
The 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk is open to participants of all ages. Registration is available via pre-registration or on the day of the event. The first 150 individuals to register receive a gift. Participation is open to the general public, and there are no specific athletic requirements to join the 1-mile event. Course maps are provided for both the 5K and the 1-mile routes. All proceeds from the entry fees and sponsorships go toward supporting the educational programs at St. Joseph Academy. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
