Event overview
The Rooted Acre Endurance Race takes place Saturday April 25 to Sunday April 26, 2026 in Woodbine, NJ at 118 Webster St. The event is organized by Even Kiel Racing and includes multiple timed endurance formats: 24 hour, 12 hour, and 6 hour individual races, plus 12 hour and 24 hour relays for four-person teams. Entry fees listed for the events are $200 (24 hour), $150 (12 hour), $100 (6 hour), $220 (12 hour relay, 4 person) and $360 (24 hour relay, 4 person).
Course and race rules
Each lap of the course is 5.5 miles and consists of dirt with very few roots. Athletes complete as many laps as they can within their designated time period. Competitors must cross the timing mat to start and finish each lap. A lap not completed by the designated finish time will not be counted. Participants may take as long as they need between laps.

The race starts and finishes at Rooted Acres NJ. On-site amenities include a full kitchen, hot and cold showers, bathrooms, a sauna, a cold plunge, and fire pits. Tent camping is available; cabins and yurts are offered at a discounted rate on a first-come, first-served basis. The property is adjacent to Belleplain State Park and is near the Cape May Zoo.
