The Rooted Acre Endurance Race takes place Saturday April 25 to Sunday April 26, 2026 in Woodbine, New Jersey (118 Webster St). The event offers timed endurance formats: 24 hour, 12 hour, and 6 hour individual races, plus 12 Hour Relay (2-4 person) and 24 Hour Relay (2-4 person) team options. Entry fees listed in the source are $200 for the 24 hour, $150 for the 12 hour, $100 for the 6 hour, $220 for the 12-hour relay, and $360 for the 24-hour relay. Prices increase after January 1, 2026. Registration for the 24-hour relay closes on April 25, 2026.
Course and format
Each lap of the course is 5.5 miles and is primarily dirt with very few roots. Participants complete as many laps as they can within their chosen time frame. Runners must cross the timing mat to start and finish each lap. A final lap not completed by the designated finish time will not be counted. Relay teams are 2 to 4 people.
Venue and amenities
The race starts and finishes at Rooted Acres NJ. On-site amenities include a full kitchen, hot and cold showers, bathrooms, sauna, cold plunge, and fire pits. Tent camping is available; cabins and yurts are offered at a discounted rate on a first-come, first-served basis. The property is adjacent to Belleplain State Park and is nearby the Cape May Zoo.
