Trail Hog Half Marathon
The Trail Hog event takes place at the Carlton Reserve in Venice, Florida. Participants navigate local trails in a natural environment with a community atmosphere. The event features multiple distances catering to different preferences:
- 13.1 Miles (Half Marathon)
- 10k
- 5k
Registration includes several amenities for participants. Runners receive a race t-shirt and have access to post-race snacks and refreshments and local vendor booths. A festive environment is maintained throughout the day with music and community-focused activities.
Thirty minutes before the start of the events, a guided group stretch session is provided to assist participants with their pre-race preparation. Packet pick-up is available on the morning of the race at the event location.
Awards and recognition are provided for various age group categories. These divisions include participants under 12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and those aged 70 and over.
