Event Information
The 11th annual Sarasota Half Marathon and 5k is held at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota, Florida. This running event offers two distances:
- Half Marathon
- 5k
The time limit for both races is 3.5 hours. Aid stations provide water and sports drink approximately every two miles. On-site parking is available for a fee.
Course
The course is located within Nathan Benderson Park, a 400-acre park featuring a lake and a rowing facility. The finish line is in front of the park's scoring tower.
Schedule and Registration
The event is scheduled for December. Race day registration and packet pick-up opens well before the start. An early packet pick-up is also available on the Saturday before the race at the same location.
Participants can register online, with entry fees starting at $49 for the 5k and $109 for the Half Marathon. Registration includes a finisher medal and a choice of a technical t-shirt or a cotton tank top. Awards are given to the top five finishers in each age group.
