Sarasota Half Marathon and 5K
The Sarasota Half Marathon and 5K is scheduled for December 13, 2026 at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota, Florida. This is the 11th annual running of the event and it uses the park grounds and surrounding areas, which include a 400 acre lake and rowing facilities.

Packet pickup is available early on Saturday, December 12 from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM at Nathan Benderson Park. Race day packet pickup is available on event morning from 5:50 AM to 6:40 AM. The race site is at 5851 Nathan Benderson Cir, Sarasota FL 34235. Parking inside the park has a $15 fee and restrooms are available near the race area.
Participants receive event apparel and finisher medals. Medal engraving will be available onsite. Tech shirts and cotton tank tops are offered; sizes and styles are not guaranteed and are best secured by arriving early at packet pickup. Awards are presented to the top five finishers in each age group; age groups run from 1-10 through 75 plus.
Course information and interactive maps are provided, including video course flyovers. Aid stations will supply water and Gatorade approximately every two miles. The event uses a 3.5 hour course time limit; walkers are permitted if they can finish within the limit. Live tracking, real-time results, race photos, and finish videos are available through the event tracking system. An athlete guide with race week details will be released the week of the event.
