Sarasota Half Marathon & 5K - Nathan Benderson Park, Sarasota FL
The Sarasota Half Marathon & 5K takes place on Sunday, December 13, 2026, at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota, Florida. The event offers two race distances and uses the park and surrounding areas for course routes. Interactive course maps and video flyovers are available to preview each course.

Packet pickup is offered early on Saturday, December 12, and on race morning at Nathan Benderson Park. Parking inside the park carries a $15 fee. Restrooms will be available near the race area. An athlete guide is released the week of the event with schedule details, parking notes, packet pickup information, course rules, and other race-day information.
Aid stations supply water and Gatorade approximately every two miles or less. The course has a 3.5 hour time limit; walkers may participate if they finish within that limit. Live tracking and real-time results are provided through the Elite Events Tracker app, which also offers splits, interactive maps, and event notifications. Race photos and finisher videos are produced and typically take several days to process.
Participants receive event apparel choices including technical shirts or cotton tanks, large colorful finisher medals, onsite medal engraving, post-race refreshments, and awards for the top five finishers in each age group.
