Trafford 10K
The Trafford 10K takes place on 7 March 2027 in Partington near Manchester. Organised by Run North West, it is a certified one-lap 10 km road race (course number 23/024) run on fully closed country roads. The route heads towards Dunham Massey before returning to Partington.
The event uses chip timing and posts results immediately on Nifty entries. Pacers are provided from 35 to 75 minutes, with pacer groups now every 2.5 minutes from 35 to 70. All finishers receive a bespoke medal and there is an optional commemorative technical finishers t-shirt. On-site facilities include drinks stations at the halfway point and finish, post-race snacks, first aid, toilets, baggage storage and bike storage at Partington Sports Village. Free parking is offered at Race HQ though spaces are limited; the course is accessible from junction 8 of the M60 and junction 7 of the M56. The nearest train or tram stop on foot is Flixton, 3.6 miles away.
Entry fees are listed for club runners (£28) and non-club runners (£30). The minimum age for road race entry is 15. Prizes are awarded to the top five male and female finishers based on gun times; veteran prizes are sent by post and awarded by chip times across V35 to V80+ in five-year increments plus the first U20. Entries close when the event limit is reached or at midnight the night before; transfers and a virtual option are available until that same deadline.
