Trafford 10K : Partington, Trafford (7 March 2027)
The Trafford 10K is a certified 10 km road race held on scenic country roads near Partington, close to Manchester. The route is one lap and heads towards Dunham Massey before returning to Partington. The course is run on fully closed roads and is officially measured and certified as an accurate 10K course (course number 23/024).
Race services include chip timing and pacers (listed from 35 to 75 minutes, with intervals every 2.5 minutes from 35 to 70). All finishers receive a bespoke medal and can opt for a commemorative technical finishers t-shirt. There is a drinks station at the halfway point and at the finish, plus post-race snacks, first aid, toilets, free baggage storage, and free high-resolution race images.
Entry details note a minimum age of 15 and fees shown for club runners (£28) and non-club runners (£30). Entries close when the event limit is reached or at midnight the night before the race; there is no official waiting list and no entries on the day once sold out. Transfer options include transferring the place to another person or converting to a virtual entry to run within a month after race day; refunds are not offered.
Event access: free parking at Race HQ with marshalled carparks and bike storage at Partington Sports Village. The closest train or tram stop on foot is Flixton, 3.6 miles away.
