Event

Trafford 10K takes place on Sunday 1 March 2026 at Partington Sports Village, Chapel Lane, Partington, Greater Manchester, M31 4ES. The race is organised by Run North West Limited and is licensed by UK Athletics. The event distance is 10 km and the minimum entry age is 15 years.

Course and facilities

The race is a one-lap route on scenic country roads that heads towards Dunham Massey before returning to Partington. The course is measured and certified as an accurate 10K and is run on fully closed roads. On-course and race‑day facilities include drink stations (halfway point and finish), km markers, bag drop, free baggage storage, first aid, toilets, post-race snack, and chip timing. All finishers receive a bespoke medal and there is an optional commemorative technical finisher T-shirt.

Entries, fees and rules

Entry categories shown are club runner (£27) and non-club/ unattached (£29); a technical finisher T-shirt is listed at £9.95. Entries closed when the event sold out. Numbers are available for advanced collection from the organiser’s store (SK9 5EB) 2–3 weeks before the race and on the day at Race HQ (M31 4ES); race information is emailed to entrants 2–3 weeks prior. There is a cut off time of 1 hour 30 minutes. Transfers to another runner are permitted free of charge and a virtual race option is available; refunds and transfers to other events are not offered. Presentations are held after the race for top finishers and veteran prizes are allocated by chip time across V35 to V85+ age groups in five-year increments, plus the first U20.
