Trafford 10K : Partington, Trafford
The Trafford 10K, organised by Run North West, takes place on 7 March 2027 in Partington, Trafford near Manchester. The organiser describes the event as a popular and fast race that attracts club and elite runners from the UK and Europe.
The race uses a certified one lap course of 10 km on scenic country roads that heads towards Dunham Massey before returning to Partington. The course is measured and certified as an accurate 10K course (course number 23/024) and is run on fully closed roads.
Entries, fees and prizes are set out by the organiser. Entry fees are shown as £28 for club runners and £30 for non‑club runners. Minimum age for entry is 15 years. Presentations for the top five male and female finishers are based on gun times, while veteran prizes are based on chip times and are posted to winners. Prize structure awards equal prizes for men and women and includes veteran categories from V35 to V80+ and a first U20 prize.
Event services include pacing groups (35 to 75 minutes, now every 2.5 minutes from 35 to 70), a bespoke finisher medal, an optional technical finishers T-shirt, post race snack, drinks stations at halfway and finish, first aid and toilets, free baggage storage and free parking at Race HQ. Results are available immediately on Nifty entries and finish line texts can be sent if a mobile number is provided. The event supports Trafford South Foodbank and includes a food donation point on race day.
