Toy Drop
The Toy Drop takes place on Saturday, December 5, 2026, in Loveland, Colorado, at 1480 Cascade Ave. The event offers several in-person and virtual distance options and benefits the organization Realities for Children.

Each race runs through parts of Loveland that have not been highlighted by this event previously. The 5K and 10K routes provide views of the mountains, a lake, and a local recreation path. The 15K is organized as loops that run clockwise, combining the 5K loop followed by the 10K loop.
Participants are asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy to the start line for the event's toy "drop." Awards for the 5K and 10K include overall male and female (three deep), masters male and female (three deep), and age-division prizes by male and female for age groups 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. The 15K awards honor the top five overall male and female finishers. Awards include custom-made medals from a local artist and gift cards from local sponsors.
Packet pickup is available at Berthoud Brewing in Loveland and on race day near the finish line. A parking map identifies open areas and a red no-parking zone reserved for hotel patrons. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
