Pelican Lakes Turkey Trot : Windsor, CO (November 26, 2026)

The Pelican Lakes Turkey Trot is a community 5K event held at Pelican Lakes golf course parking lot in Windsor, Colorado. The course uses paved cart and walking paths through Water Valley and finishes along one of the lakes. Parking is available at the race site with overflow along Water Valley Parkway.

The event offers these options:

5K run

Participants receive professional chip timing and a long sleeve Headsweats performance shirt. Race-day packet pickup is available and coffee and hot chocolate are provided. After the event there are light breakfast snacks and both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage options, including beer and seltzers. Prizes are awarded to top run finishers and an awards ceremony is held.

Strollers and dogs are permitted on the course. The event requests non-perishable food donations for the Weld County Food Bank and directs proceeds to support local nonprofit organizations.
