The Pelican Lakes Turkey Trot is an annual run and walk held on November 26, 2026 in Windsor, CO, with activities centered at the Pelican Lakes Golf Course parking lot.

The event uses a looped course through Water Valley on paved cart and walking paths, with a finish along one of the lakes. Dogs and strollers are allowed on the course.

Entry listings show a price of $32.80 (including a $2.80 fee) and note that kids receive special pricing. Participants receive chip timing, a long sleeve performance shirt, and access to a finisher party with snacks and drinks. The after party includes coffee, hot cocoa, light breakfast snacks, beer, seltzers and non-alcoholic options. Top finishers in the run division receive local gift cards and homemade pastries; awards are given to top run finishers. Attendees are asked to bring non-perishable food donations for the Weld County Food Bank.
Proceeds and donations support local nonprofits. Beneficiaries named include WOW, Windsor Community Foundation, Health4Heroes, Arty's Kitchen, Beef Sticks 4 Backpacks, Severance Middle School, Banner Health MD Andersen, Weld RE-4 Foundation, St. Judes Children's Hospital and Adopt A Family. The event offers free entry to anyone in need due to reduced access to food assistance programs; donations help fund those free entries.
