Turkey-Donut Predict Run
This is a prediction-style 5K held in Fort Collins at 2201 S Shields Street on the Spring Creek Trail. Runners enter an estimated finish time before racing; the five participants who finish closest to their predicted time are the top placers. Timekeeping devices of any kind are not allowed during the run, including watches, phones, and music-based timing methods. Participants may report others who use devices.
The event raises funds for the Food Bank for Larimer County. A $5 fee covers timing; donations are required to receive a raffle ticket, with a suggested minimum donation of $10 per person. Cash donations are preferred and the Food Bank can purchase items at deeper discounts. Food donations are also accepted. Each donor receives one raffle ticket and winners must be present to claim prizes from local businesses and race entries.
Registration opens on 2026-10-22 and registration closes on race day via the event website; there is no in-person, on-site registration. The race is chip timed and organizers provide timing chips. FCRC members who already have a Tortoise & Hare bib do not need to bring it. Runners will be directed to alternate directions along the Spring Creek Trail so participants are spaced along the course.
