NCMC Turkey Trot
The NCMC Turkey Trot is organized by the CardioVascular Institute of North Colorado and the Weld Legacy Foundation. The event takes place in Greeley, Colorado on November 26, 2026 and is described as a Thanksgiving Day tradition for many families.
Available distances include:
- 5K - scenic USATF-certified course
- 2K - Gobbler Trek fun run
Proceeds support the Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation programs and provide financial assistance to patients who otherwise could not participate in rehabilitation. The event is open to participants of all ages.
Strollers and wagons are permitted on the course when managed by an adult; those users are asked to start behind more competitive runners. Rollerblades, bikes, skates and scooters are not permitted. Due to limited space and many families with young children, pets are asked to remain at home.
Packet pick up is at North Colorado Medical Center, 1801 16th Street, Greeley, CO 80631. Participants should enter through Door 5 on the east side and pass through security scanners. Packet pick up times are Tuesday November 24 10:00am to 6:00pm, Wednesday November 25 10:00am to 6:00pm, and Thursday November 26 7:00am to 9:00am.
Registration opens April 27, 2026 and closes November 20, 2026. The listed registration fee is $30.00.
Awards include cash prizes and age division recognitions for the 5K and top age division awards for the 2K. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
