About the race
The Town of Palm Beach United Way Turkey Trot is an annual Thanksgiving Day running event held Thursday, November 26, 2026, at Bradley Park in Palm Beach. The event features a chip-timed 5K run/walk and a separate Kids Drumstick Dash. The course runs from Bradley Park in front of the Biltmore condominium along North County Road beneath a tree canopy and continues onto the Lake Trail beside the Intracoastal Waterway.
A course map is provided by the organizer. The event includes awards and recognition: medals for all finishers and trophies for top age-group runners. Historically more than 1,600 participants attend the event. Proceeds support the Town of Palm Beach United Way’s holiday meal program for Palm Beach County; the prior year’s race provided 7,756 meals. Packet pickup is handled in West Palm Beach at the Pumphouse Pouratorium on the two days before Thanksgiving.
The 5K entry is currently sold out and a waitlist is available. The event is chip-timed and includes a family-oriented children’s dash in addition to the main 5K distance. Sponsorship opportunities are organized in tiers and include visibility on event materials such as t-shirts, race bibs, and signage. Sponsors and participants together support the event’s goal of raising funds to provide holiday meals to individuals and families in need across the county.
