Town of Palm Beach United Way Turkey Trot
The Town of Palm Beach United Way Turkey Trot is a Thanksgiving Day community running event held in Palm Beach at Bradley Park on Thursday, November 26, 2026. The event combines a short children’s dash and a chip timed 5K along a scenic route by the Intracoastal Waterway.
Event distances:
- Kids' Drumstick Dash, toddlers through age 6
- 5K chip timed course along North County Road and Lake Trail
The Kids' Drumstick Dash brings together more than 100 young children on the Great Lawn. The 5K course follows tree-lined North County Road and the Lake Trail adjacent to the Intracoastal Waterway and attracts more than 1,600 runners, walkers, and families. Entry for the 5K is currently sold out and the waitlist is full; registration for the next edition opens on July 1, 2027.
All finishers receive a Turkey Trot finisher medal. Special trophies are awarded to the overall male and female 5K finishers, and 1st- and 2nd-place trophies are given in age groups ranging from 9 & under through 70+.
Packet pickup is held at Pumphouse Pouratorium in West Palm Beach on the days preceding the race. Proceeds and sponsorship support the provision of holiday meals to families in Palm Beach County; last year’s race provided 7,756 meals.
