Town of Palm Beach United Way Turkey Trot
The Town of Palm Beach United Way Turkey Trot is a Thanksgiving Day running event held at Bradley Park in Palm Beach. The event features a chip-timed 5K run/walk and a separate Kids' Drumstick Dash. The course runs along the North County Road tree canopy and the Lake Trail by the Intracoastal Waterway; a course map is provided by the organizer.
The event includes medals for all finishers and trophies for top age-group finishers. Packet pickup is handled in West Palm Beach at the Pumphouse Pouratorium in the days before the race. Registration is open and the race typically sells out.
The Turkey Trot raises funds to provide holiday meals to individuals and families across Palm Beach County. Through participant and sponsor support, recent editions have helped deliver thousands of meals; last year the event provided 7,756 meals. The organizer offers sponsorship opportunities with visibility on race shirts, bibs, signage, and promotional materials to support the event and its charitable goals.
