Race Overview
The US Road Running event in Royal Palm Beach, Florida, offers multiple race distances held at Commons Park. This event is part of a larger race series and is open to participants without specific qualification requirements. All participants receive a finisher medal after completing their chosen distance.
Available Distances
The following distances are available for participants:
- 5K: Completed as a single out-and-back loop.
- 10K: Completed by finishing the out-and-back course two times.
- Half Marathon: Completed by finishing a dedicated out-and-back course four times.
- Marathon: Completed by finishing the out-and-back course eight times.
Course Information
The event utilizes two slightly different courses depending on the chosen distance. The 5K and 10K participants use an out-and-back route measuring 1.56 miles each way. The Half Marathon and Marathon runners use an out-and-back route measuring 1.64 miles each way. All races are chip timed for accuracy. There is a total course time limit of 6 hours for all participants.
Event Logistics
Packet pickup begins 30 minutes before the start of the race and concludes 10 minutes prior to the start. All registration must be completed online through RunSignup before the event starts. There is no option for on-site registration on the day of the race. Participants are encouraged to wear costumes, and a award is given for the best costume at the beginning of the event.
