Girl Scouts of Suffolk County Tough Cookie 5K Race
The Girl Scouts of Suffolk County Tough Cookie event is a community race day centered on a 5K run and a 1 mile family walk. The event includes a family activity program with vendor tables, music, crafts, and light refreshments.

The course is a loop through a wooded area at Camp Edey in Bayport, New York, adjacent to San Souci Lake. Amenities listed for participants include a finisher medal for the first 100 registrants, an event t-shirt, post-race refreshments, live text and email results, free finish line photos, and a personalized bib for those who register at least three weeks in advance.
Awards are given to the top three male and female overall finishers and to top three male and female finishers in age groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80-89, and 90+.
Bib pickup is handled by event staff before the event, and last-minute registrants receive a bib number by text shortly after registering. Proceeds support scholarships and programming that provide outdoor experiences, leadership development, and hands-on learning for girls across Suffolk County.
