Girl Scouts of Suffolk County Tough Cookie 5K
The Girl Scouts of Suffolk County Tough Cookie event is a community running day at Camp Edey in Bayport, featuring a 5-kilometer race and a 1-mile family walk. The course is a loop through a wooded area next to San Souci Lake on the Girl Scouts campgrounds.

Event amenities include a finisher medal for the first 100 registrants, an event t-shirt, post-race refreshments, free finish-line photos, live text and email results, and access to Family Fun Day activities. Participants who register at least three weeks in advance are eligible for a personalized bib.
Awards are given to the top three male and female overall finishers and to top three finishers in standard age-group categories from youth to seniors.
The event program pairs the running and walking components with a community Family Fun Day. Family activities listed for the day include face painting, crafts, games, sponsor and vendor tables, music, and light refreshments. Proceeds support scholarships and programming that fund outdoor experiences and leadership development for girls across Suffolk County.
