Girl Scouts of Suffolk County Tough Cookie 5K Race and 1 Mile Family Fun Walk : June 13, 2026
The event is a community day hosted at Camp Edey in Bayport, NY on June 13, 2026. It combines a timed 5K run/walk with a 1 mile family fun walk and a concurrent family activity program. The event is billed as the inaugural Tough Cookie 5K Race and 1 Mile Walk and supports scholarships and programming for Girl Scouts of Suffolk County.

The course is a loop through a wooded area at Camp Edey adjacent to San Souci lake. Event amenities include a finisher medal, event t-shirt, post-race refreshments, live online and text results, free finish line photos, and a personalized bib for registrations completed three weeks before the race. Family Day activities include face painting, crafts, games, sponsor tables, local vendors, music, and light refreshments.
Awards are presented to the top three male and female overall finishers and to the top three male and female competitors in age groups including 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80-89, and 90+.
