Santa's Toy Trot 5K Run/Walk takes place on December 7, 2025 in Patchogue, New York. The event features a 5K run/walk and a free Rudolph Fun Run. Goal pacers are provided for target finishing ranges (including sub-30, sub-40, and sub-50 minute categories). Registration includes a long-sleeve shirt and a personalized bib for entries submitted at least three weeks before the event.
Location, course and logistics
The event is held at Shorefront Park, 49 Smith Street, Patchogue, NY. The 5K is on a USATF-certified course. Transportation from the Patchogue train station is available for attendees. Bib pickup is available the day before at a local pickup site and on race day at the event site. The organizers request that participants bring a new, unwrapped toy for the Kiwanis Club of Patchogue community toy drive; optional toy purchases and donations are offered.
Amenities, awards and beneficiaries
On-site amenities include a heated tent with capacity for about 1,200 people, live music, free beer, and post-race snacks. Cash awards are offered for top finishers overall and in masters and age-group divisions, with a bonus available for breaking course records.
