Race features and services
The course is USATF certified for 5K distance. Amenities listed for participants include free beer and live music, a heated tent with capacity for 1,200 runners, a high-quality long-sleeve shirt, personalized bibs for those who register at least three weeks in advance, and post-race food items supplied by All Round Foods. Goal pacers are provided in sub-30, sub-40, and sub-50 minute categories. Live online, email, and text results are available, along with free video and same-day finish line photos.
Logistics, awards and charity
Pre-race bib pickup is offered on December 6 at Tiestos Restaurant, 411 W Main St., Patchogue; race-day pickup is available at the event site. Prize categories include top three male and female overall cash awards, a bonus for breaking the course records, masters awards (40+), awards by age group from 10 & under through 80+, and top awards for police, fire, military, and Patchogue Village residents.
