Event overview
Santa's Toy Trot is a community 5K run/walk held on December 7, 2025, at Shorefront Park, 49 Smith Street, Patchogue, NY. The event includes a separate free Rudolph Fun Run. Proceeds benefit the Kiwanis Foundation of Patchogue and participants are asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy or make a donation for the local toy drive. The course is USATF certified and transportation is available from the Patchogue train station.

Registration has tiered pricing and includes a long-sleeve shirt and a personalized bib for registrations completed in advance. A heated tent is provided with capacity for 1,200 people. Event amenities include live music, post-race snacks, and complimentary beer. Pacers will be available for goal times in Sub 30, Sub 40, and Sub 50 minute categories.
Awards include cash prizes for the top three men and women overall ($300, $175, $125) and a $100 bonus for breaking the men’s or women’s course record. There are cash awards for masters (40+) and age-group awards across standard age brackets. Additional awards are planned for top police, fire, and military participants and top Patchogue Village residents. Bib pickup is available the day before at a local restaurant and on race day at the event site. Registration fees are non-refundable.
