Girl Scouts of Virginia Skyline Tough Cookie
The Girl Scouts of Virginia Skyline Tough Cookie takes place on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at the Greenfield Recreation Park cross country course, 160 Preston Park Road, Troutville, VA. The event supports Girl Scouts of Virginia Skyline and is open to Girl Scouts, family members, and the public. In-person and virtual participation options are offered, plus a children’s fun run.

Registration opened December 1, 2025. Virtual registration closes March 11, 2026; in-person 5K and Fun Run registration closes March 19, 2026. There is no on-site registration on race day. T-shirts, medals, patches, and cinch sacs are provided based on registration order: 5K medals guaranteed to the first 250 registrants, Fun Run medals to the first 100 registrants, and patches and cinch sacs to the first 300 registrants. T-shirts are not guaranteed for registrations after February 19, 2026.
Entry options and included items:
- 5K (timed) $50: chipped bib, long sleeve adult or short sleeve youth shirt, 5K participation medal, cinch sac, race patch, and one box of Girl Scout Cookies.
- 1-mile Fun Run $40: unchipped bib, shirt, participation medal, cinch sac, race patch, and one box of Girl Scout Cookies.
- Virtual packet pick-up $50 and virtual packet mailed $55 include variations of bib, shirt, medal, cinch sac, and race patch as described by the organizer.
Awards for in-person 5K include medals for the top three finishers in each age division; the top three overall 5K finishers receive a case of Girl Scout Cookies. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
