Event overview
The Touchdown 5K takes place on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at Olan Thomas Park, 89 Paper Mill Road, Newark, DE 19711. The event is a Super Bowl themed 5K held near Timothy's. Participants are invited to wear team jerseys. Registration pricing listed on the event page shows a general entry fee of $30 and a youth price of $25 for ages 0-18. Fusion Running Club members receive a 20% registration discount beginning December 15, 2025. A course map is provided for directional purposes.
Amenities, awards and partners
Runners receive post-race snacks and drinks, a custom bib, Fusion Racing winter running gloves, and access to a post-race party at Timothy's with food, drinks and music. Bib pick up is held at Olan Thomas Park on race day. Awards include Overall Male/Female and Overall Masters Male/Female, plus medals for the top three in each age group for male and female competitors. Age groups are 9 & under, 10-13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70+. The event lists the Friends of Fusion Foundation as a charity partner; that organization is described as an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) supporting children, young adults and first responders in Delaware.
