Totally Awesome 80's Run : Mully's Brewery, Prince Frederick MD
The Totally Awesome 80's Run is an 80s themed running and walking event at Mully's Brewery in Prince Frederick, Maryland. The event is presented as a GDFAR Signature race concept held at Mully's for the first time. Participants receive a commemorative shirt and a pint glass, plus a complimentary beer for those 21 and older or root beer for younger guests.
Event formats include:
- 5K chip timed race
- 1 Mile Walk walking only
Walkers must be registered to be on the course for safety. Walkers in the 5K are positioned behind runners and a one hour time limit is kindly requested for the 5K course. Awards are given for top male and female overall and age group 5K winners, three deep, with age categories including 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29 and then every ten years.
A live DJ will provide 80s music before the race and during the after party. Additional on-site features include 80s trivia, a best dressed competition, and an opportunity for dancing. A professional photographer will take event photos and downloadable images will be available. Race day packet pick-up is held at Mully's Brewery at the Good Day for a Run tent.
