- 50K
- 34K
- 17K
The series is limited to 100 participants. The format is a supported trail event with route markings, timing, aid stations, and food at aid stations and the finish. Pancakes are provided at the finish. Runners may change their planned distance during the event but must notify event staff of the distance completed for recording purposes. Refunds are not issued for cancellations.
Course and logistics
The race uses a roughly 10.5-mile loop around the lake and into Salem Forest. Runners complete 1, 2, or 3 laps depending on distance. Surface composition is approximately 75% single-track (dirt, roots, rock, wooden bridges), 20% forest road, and 5% crushed gravel along the dam. Each lap includes several small hills totaling about 500 feet of elevation gain and loss.
The main aid station is at the park entrance on Camp Cosoma Road, with parking and toilet facilities. A second aid station is near the Salem Forest parking area on Indian Bridge Road; it may not be staffed continuously and can receive drop bags. Trails remain open to the public and users such as mountain bikers, walkers, leashed pets, and horseback riders may be present. Day-use vehicle fees apply at the park entrance.
