Tortoise and Hare 5K
The Tortoise and Hare 5K is an annual running event held in the Lehigh Valley. The race takes place each Memorial Day at Wind Gap Memorial Park. The event features a rolling course that starts near the park and concludes with a food spread for participants.

The race is professionally timed by Second Wind Race. Participants compete in various age groups, ranging from 14 and under to 75 and older. Custom race tile prizes are awarded to top performers. The opening ceremony includes the National Anthem and a start led by a local military veteran.
A portion of the proceeds from the event choice benefits local youth charities. Registration includes a short-sleeved shirt for those who sign up by the early May deadline.
