Reindeer Run 5K at ShawneeCraft Brewery
The Reindeer Run takes place on 12/12/2026 at ShawneeCraft Brewery and the Shawnee Inn and Golf Course in Shawnee On Delaware, PA. The event includes multiple distances:
- 5K chip-timed race.
- 1 Mile non-timed walk.
The 5K course crosses a bridge onto the historic golf course and follows cart paths, fairways, and a wooded trail before finishing at the brewery. The course is not stroller or dog friendly. Walkers and children may participate in the 5K but must be registered; the 5K has a one hour time limit.
Awards are presented to top overall finishers and age-group placings, three deep. Age groups listed include under 14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39 and continue in ten-year increments.
Participants receive a fleece-line custom beanie and a beer glass; a beanie is guaranteed for registrations by November 22. A complimentary craft beer is offered at the finish or a soda for participants under 21. Post-race live music will be provided and food is available for purchase at the brewery. Packet pick-up occurs on race day inside the brewery. The event proceeds in rain, light snow, or shine and there are no refunds or deferrals.
Volunteers receive complimentary beer or soda and a free future race. Discounted room rates are available at the Shawnee Inn with the code "Reindeer" for Friday and/or Saturday night; the standard two-night minimum is not required. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
