Event Overview
The Lehigh Valley New Year's Chaser takes place on January 1, 2027, in Coplay, Pennsylvania. Distances and Course

The course is generally flat, with a low point of 365 feet and a high point of 389 feet. The half marathon consists of two loops of 6.55 miles each, with a total elevation gain of 184 feet per loop. The 10K follows a similar loop with a shortened out and back section. Aid stations providing water and Gatorade are located approximately every two miles. All participants must complete their chosen distance within a 4 hour time limit.
Participant Information
All registered participants receive a t-shirt, a finisher medal, and a pair of running socks. First-time half marathon finishers and those completing the 5K and 10K combo receive a commemorative plaque. While there is no formal awards ceremony, top finishers in various age categories from 15 and under to 80 plus can collect their awards shortly after finishing.
An early start option is available specifically for half marathon participants who expect to maintain a pace of 15 minutes per mile or slower.
