Lehigh Valley New Year's Chaser: Half Marathon, 10K and 5K : Coplay, PA
Lehigh Valley New Year's Chaser is a road race event held on January 1, 2027 at the Ironton Rail Trail, 245 N 2nd St., Coplay, PA 18037. The event offers multiple distances and all events start and finish at the same point next to the Saylor Cement Kilns.

The half marathon follows two loops of a generally flat 5.25 mile asphalt circuit; each loop becomes 6.55 miles with an out-and-back spur. The course surface is described as immaculate asphalt without potholes. Elevation on the loop ranges from about 365 to 389 feet with a total elevation gain of about 184 feet per 6.55 mile loop; one section gains roughly 30 feet over 0.3 mile. Aid stations with water and Gatorade are located approximately every two miles.
Entry includes a race t-shirt, finisher medal and ankle running socks. First time half marathon and combo finishers receive a ceremonial plaque. Results are provided live by online, text and email, and free finish line photos and same-day video are available. There is not a formal awards ceremony; awards can be picked up soon after finishing.
