Top of Coom Half

The Top of Coom Half is a challenging mountain running event held in Kilgarvan, County Kerry, Ireland. Covering a distance of 21.7 km with a climb of 950 meters, the race follows a horseshoe route around the hills above the upper Roughty River. The course features rough open mountain terrain and energy-sapping blanket bogs, demanding advanced skills and mandatory safety kit from participants.
