The MTC MACHA is a challenging 47-mile ultra marathon held in Ireland, starting at Killarney Court Hotel and finishing at the Cliff House Hotel in Ballybunion. It forms Day 3 of the 14-day Mount to Coast MizMal® End to End Challenge, which covers the length of Ireland. The route largely follows the MizMal® cycling path along the Wild Atlantic Way, featuring varied terrain with approximately 725 meters of ascent and descent.
The event is limited to 40 runners, including MizMal® participants, and enforces a minimum pace of 4 mph with cut-off times at checkpoints. Finishers receive a bespoke MTC MACHA medal, with trophies awarded to male and female champions. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
