About the race
To the Bridge and Back with Extreme Kids is a run, walk, or roll event held October 4, 2026, at the American Veterans Memorial Pier in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. The course follows the Shore Parkway Bike Path toward the Verrazzano Bridge and returns to the pier, with a total distance of approximately 4 miles. The permit notes the event may not proceed beyond the Verrazzano Bridge and that the path must remain unobstructed for cyclists.
Registration offers an early bird price on or before September 18 and a higher price after that date; totals may vary due to processing fees and optional donations. A base registration option of $30.00 appears on the registration page. Children 12 and under register free and receive a medal but no shirt. T-shirt sizes are offered but not guaranteed. Registration fees are non-refundable and participants must agree to event terms that include a liability release and permission for use of event photographs and video.
Event amenities include live online, email, and text results, free finish-line photos, and personalized bibs for those registered at least three weeks in advance. Bib pickup is handled by event staff before the event, and last-minute registrants can receive a bib number by text shortly after registering. Team registration and donation options are available.
