To the Bridge and Back with Extreme Kids 4 Miles - 2026
To the Bridge and Back with Extreme Kids is a community run, walk, or roll event held on October 4, 2026 at the American Veterans Memorial Pier in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. The course covers approximately 4 miles, starting at the pier and following the Shore Parkway Bike Path toward the Verrazzano Bridge and back.
The permit notes that the route may not proceed beyond the Verrazzano Bridge and that the path must remain unobstructed for cyclists. Personalized bibs are available for participants who register at least three weeks before the event; last-minute registrants are sent a bib number by text within 90 seconds.
Registration fees include a base registration option of $30. Early bird pricing and a total with processing fees are shown on the event page; 12 and under register free and receive a medal but not a shirt. T-shirt sizes are not guaranteed. There is an option to make donations with suggested amounts listed, and participants may join or create a team.
Amenities include live and emailed or texted results, free finish-line photos, and same-day finish line video. Registration fees are non-refundable, and participants agree to the event waiver terms, including release of claims and permission for event photos and recordings to be used.
