TITAN Obstacle Course Run | WEST COAST #2
The event is an obstacle course run held at Kleine Hopefield in Hopefield, Western Cape, South Africa. The course is a trail running route of approximately 5 km that includes a range of obstacles placed along the route. Participants must overcome obstacles on the route in order to advance and completing all obstacles constitutes finishing the challenge.
There are two entry categories. The Elite category is competitive and timed; all obstacles are mandatory and failure to complete an obstacle can lead to disqualification, though disqualified athletes may still finish the route. The Fun category is non competitive, obstacles are not compulsory, participants are not timed, and Fun finishers receive a unique Titan medal.
Teams are supported for certain classes, with team sizes reported from 2 to 100 participants. The listed price is R350 per person for the available entry classes.
Venue facilities at Kleine Hopefield include a restaurant, a bar, live entertainment, an area to hose off mud after the run, and a box for leaving keys during the run at the participant's own risk. Participants receive a unique bib number. Children under the age of 13 should be accompanied by a paying adult at all times while on the obstacle course.
