About the race
Titan Obstacle Course Run at Kleine Hopefield in Hopefield, Western Cape, is a 5 km obstacle race that combines trail running with engineered obstacles along a marked route. The event offers two entry categories: ELITE RUNNER - 5 km and FUN RUNNER - 5 km. Elite entrants are timed, must complete all obstacles to avoid disqualification, and compete for podium positions. Fun entrants are not timed and are not required to complete every obstacle; they receive a custom Titan medal on completion.
The course is described as fast and physically demanding despite its shorter distance, with a variety of obstacles placed on different terrains. Participants advance by overcoming obstacles placed on the trail; completion requires negotiating all obstacles. Entries may be individual or team-based, and bulk/team entry options are available.
Facilities at Kleine Hopefield include a restaurant, a bar, live entertainment, a designated area for rinsing mud after the run, and a box for leaving keys during the event at the participant’s own risk.
