Tissington Trail September Half Marathon Weekend
The event is a half marathon held on 19 and 20 September 2026 in Ashbourne, Derbyshire. The race runs along the Tissington Trail, a traffic-free former railway line, on a 13 mile route from Parsley Hay to Ashbourne. The trail has a slight downhill gradient for most of the route and offers views over the Derbyshire Dales. Runners may choose to take part on one or both race days.
Course, logistics and entry
Race headquarters is at Ashbourne Leisure Centre and the race start is at Parsley Hay. Coaches are provided to transport runners from the leisure centre to the race start. There is car parking in Ashbourne town centre and a small car park at the leisure centre; parking charges apply. Bus services run from Derby to Ashbourne Leisure Centre. Entry is open to entrants aged 17 and over on the date of each race. Standard entry offers list a price of £38 for each race, with an on-the-day entry fee shown as £45 subject to availability.
