Inflatable 5K - Bakewell, Derbyshire (12 September 2026)
The Inflatable 5K event in Bakewell, Derbyshire features a course made up of giant inflatable obstacles, slides and tunnels set on repeated laps of a 2.5 km circuit. Participants can choose from four distances: 2.5k, 5k, 10k or 15k, with each lap repeating the same obstacles. Obstacle counts per distance are 15, 30, 60 and 90 respectively, and the event is run as a fun focused, non timed experience.
Course support and onsite provisions include a marked route, a midway water station, medical cover, event photography, music zones and a free spectator area. Finishers receive a medal, and participants are given a goodie bag and a refreshment at the finish. Toilets are provided at the venue and food and drink vendors will be on site.
Participant rules note that children aged 5 to 15 must run with a paying participating adult, up to three children per adult. Dogs are not permitted at the event. There is no on-site parking; public car parks are available nearby and attendees are responsible for any parking charges. A bag drop service is available for a fee with size restrictions and security searches in place.
