Inflatable 5K Bakewell, Derbyshire
The Inflatable 5K in Bakewell is an inflatable obstacle course event held in the Peak District area. The course uses a 2.5k lap that repeats to create longer distances, and each lap features inflatable obstacles, slides and tunnels. Five music zones are placed around the route and there is an on-course hydration station.
Distances available include:
- 2.5k, 1 lap, 15 obstacles
- 5k, 2 laps, 30 obstacles
- 10k, 4 laps, 60 obstacles
- 15k, 6 laps, 90 obstacles
Entries include a finisher's medal, a goodie bag, a refreshing drink, event photography and medical cover. Facilities on site include toilets, a free spectators area and food and drink vendors. Bag drop is available for a fee of £3.00 per bag; bags must be no larger than an average rucksack and will be searched for safety.
Practical notes: there is no on-site parking but public car parks are located nearby and participants are responsible for any parking charges. Dogs are not permitted. Children aged 5 to 15 must run with a paying participating adult at a ratio of up to three children per adult. The event is described as non timed and suitable for groups, families and charity teams.
