The Inflatable 5K obstacle course will take place at Bakewell Showground, Bakewell, DE45 1AH on Saturday 12 September 2026. Distances offered are:
- 2.5 km
- 5 km
- 10 km
- 15 km
The course is a 2.5 km lap. The event formats are 1 lap for 2.5 km, 2 laps for 5 km, 4 laps for 10 km, and 6 laps for 15 km. Obstacle counts are 15 obstacles per lap, giving 15, 30, 60, and 90 obstacles respectively. The 5 km distance will include 30 inflatable obstacles after three new obstacles were added. The route features five music zones and a water station located midway along the route.
Course, facilities and rules
Named inflatable obstacles include Start Mountain, The Crawler, The Holes, Holy Moly, Duck N Dive, Viper, The Vortex and others. Toilets are provided at the venue. There is no on-site parking; public car parks are located nearby. Dogs are not allowed. A bag drop is available for £3.00; bags must be gym duffle size or smaller and will be searched for safety. Children aged 5 to 15 must be accompanied by paying participating adults at a maximum ratio of 3 children to 1 adult. Spectators may watch from designated spectator areas at no extra charge. Recommended kit includes sensible running shoes, a long sleeve top and a rain jacket if wet weather is forecast. Volunteers receive one free run entry, a T-shirt and a tote bag.
