TinMan JHB #3 : Prime View, Olifantsfontein (30 August 2026)
TinMan JHB #3 is one event in the 2026 TINMAN Series held at Prime View in Olifantsfontein, Gauteng on 30 August 2026. The event offers multiple triathlon and duathlon classes with minimum age requirements and timed results. Swimming takes place in a dam, cycling on closed public roads, and running on offroad gravel routes.
Available race classes and minimum ages:
- Mini Tri: 200 m swim / 5 km cycle / 2.5 km run. Min age 8 years.
- Super Sprint Tri: 400 m swim / 12 km cycle / 2.5 km run. Min age 12 years.
- Sprint Tri and Relay: 750 m swim / 22 km cycle / 5 km run. Min age 16 years.
- Sprint Duathlon: 5 km run / 22 km cycle / 2.5 km run. Min age 16 years.
- Challenge Tri and Relay: 1.2 km swim / 32 km cycle / 10 km run. Min age 17 or 18 years as listed.
Entries are offered with early bird and standard fees for individual and team classes. Included services noted for entrants are a timing race chip and number, medical assistance, swim lifeguards, run marshals, road closure for the bike leg, finishers medals, and bottled water at the finish. The event is conducted under Triathlon SA rules; athletes must hold an annual TSA licence or purchase a temporary day licence valid for the event.
