Heritage Day Trial Run/Walk at The Big Red Barn
The event is a trail run and walk held at The Big Red Barn Trails in Olifantsfontein, Gauteng. Multiple distance options are available and online entry fees range from R80 to R170. The venue includes The Red Barn Restaurant for food and drinks, and parking is provided.

Entry includes a marked route, water tables on all routes, a finisher medal, venue entry, parking, and Vitality points. Walking or hiking is permitted on all distances subject to event cut-offs. Due to the current state of the river next to the 15 km trail, the 15 km route will follow the 10 km plus 5 km sections, and the 21 km will be a loop of the 10 km trail.
There is a Make a Difference campaign option: participants may donate the cost of their medal or add additional donations into the campaign box; funds will be collected for an animal shelter at year end. The event is pet friendly and all ages are welcome. Payment on the day accepts cash, card, and SnapScan. No license is required to take part.
