Rietvlei Dam Night Run/Walk : 8 July 2026
This event is a night run and walk at Rietvlei Dam in Pretoria, Gauteng. It offers marked routes within the venue and provides water tables, parking, venue entry and a finisher medal for participants. Snacks and drinks will be available for purchase. Vitality points are awarded.
Distances and entry fees:
- 2 km : R 80 (online pre-entry)
- 5 km : R 110 (online pre-entry)
- 10 km : R 130 (online pre-entry)
On-the-day entries incur an additional R 30, except for children under 13 and adults over 60 who pay R 80 with no extra on-the-day charge.
Route details note that the course is mostly tar road and lies entirely within the venue. The 10 km distance is a loop of the 5 km. Walking and hiking are allowed on all routes. Water tables are provided on all distances.
A headlamp or torch is required for participation. The event is not pet friendly.
Make a Difference campaign: participants may choose to donate the cost of their medal by placing it in the campaign box or by adding an extra donation. Funds collected during the year will be donated to an animal shelter at year end. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
